Gold Coast Cruise Terminal
The master plan for the proposed Gold Coast Cruise Terminal incorporated an exciting blend of public and private amenities.
Included in the planning and design were new public parklands with a landscaped amphitheatre, a vibrant new cruise ship terminal with feature roof structure, unobtrusive but safe pathway nature walks, marinas and parking facilities.
The private residential component of the project included berths for small to luxury sized pleasure crafts, and a new fisherman’s harbour wharf area designed to complement the new cruise terminal precinct with shops, restaurants and open parkland areas.
This scheme was designed to revitalise and reactivate a largely disused portion of the Gold Coast and to create a visually appealing and functional new destination for the enjoyment of locals and tourist alike.
