Throwback Thursday: This week we look back at the Hyde Apartments in the river front, inner city suburb of Teneriffe, Brisbane. These apartments were designed by NRA for Kenlynn Properties. Consisting of forty-four apartments within a five-storey building with basement car parking and outlook along Beeston Street, Teneriffe towards the Brisbane River, the design of this residential development presents as two buildings with screens, solid and glazed balustrades that form a pattern and rhythm to the building’s facade.
The complex is a mix of 2 bed/1 bath, 2 bed/2 bath and 3 bed/2 bath apartments. Each apartment features stone bench tops in both the kitchens and bathrooms with superior fittings and finishing’s throughout. Both internal and external areas are functional for all apartments, with top floor apartments enjoying higher than normal ceilings.
Hyde Apartments offers occupants a secure basement with lift, as well as a relaxation area with pool to enjoy the serenity of the location and the landscape of established trees and greenery.
