Mark is a Principal of the NRA Collaborative with over 25 years of industry experience.Throughout Mark’s career he has lead and contributed to a diverse range of award winning projects around Brisbane, Australia and Asia. His experience spans master planning, urban design, town centres, mixed-use precincts, major cultural buildings, commercial, resort, multi-residential, education, transport and public infrastructure.
Mark has a thorough understanding of a wide range of building typologies and an in-depth knowledge of industry best practice which he utilises to continually explore new ideas and challenge accepted conventions. Previously a designer and senior contributor at practices such as Cox Architecture and Arkhefield, Mark has worked on some of Brisbane’s most iconic public architectures, infrastructures and urban spaces including the Brisbane Ferry Terminals, the River Quay restaurant precinct in South Bank and recently both the Metro and Cross River Rail projects.
He has a passion for driving innovative design, adopting a holistic viewpoint of our environment as a singular landscape, synthesising all disciplines to craft memorable places.
Mark employs a rigorous approach through concept to realisation, solving complex technical challenges whilst optimising conditions and connections to add value for the client/ stakeholders and enhance user experience.
